My university career began in Italy at the University of Milano-Bicocca, where I developed an interest for experimental radio cosmology and astronomical instrumentation. I recently received a PhD degree from the University of Oxford with a thesis on hardware development and systematic effect studies for future CMB experiments. During my PhD I have worked primarily on LiteBIRD, a newly selected CMB satellite mission led by the Japanese Space Agency (Jaxa). This gave me the opportunity to visit Japan for an extended period of time, and work in close contact with the IPMU CMB group. As an IPMU postdoc I hope to get even more involved in the various aspects of the LiteBIRD design and characterization, and possibly other CMB experiments.
