Abstract: The long-awaited Planck satellite was launched successfully on May 14, and is on its way to the L2 point now. What are the big things we expect from the Planck science results? In my personal opinion, two things: B-mode polarization and primordial non-Gaussianity, the so-called f_NL parameter. In this black-board lecture, I will give the pedagogical review of what the B-mode polarization and the f_NL parameter are, and why they are important - how they can be used to probe the physics of cosmic inflation.
