Title: Supersymmetric theories on manifold with boundary and localization
Date (JST): Tue, Sep 02, 2014, 13:15 - 14:45
Place: Seminar Room A
Abstract: Part 1:
It is conjectured in arXiv:1211.1986 that 3d ellipsoid partition functions and superconformal indices of 3d N=2 supersymmetric theories are factorized into products of two identical building blocks (holomorphic blocks). I will briefly explain the factorization by giving examples.

Part 2:
I will introduce three dimensional N=2 supersymmetric Chern-Simons-Matter theories with specified boundary conditions and evaluate the partition functions in terms of localization method. I will also discuss the relation between the partition function of our model and three dimensional holomorphic blocks.
