| Abstract: | In this talk I will describe new perspectives on superconformal field theories (SCFTs) emerging over the last a few years. Instead of dealing with each theory separately, we start with some geometric structures (such as 2, 3-manifolds and totally non-negative Grassmannians) and discuss a class of SCFTs all at once. This makes the duality properties manifest and clarifies the relations among different theories. When we compute a partition function of these theories, we obtain a quantitative correspondence between supersymmetric gauge theories and non- supersymmetric systems. We will also comment on the future implication of our results. |
