A CY 3-fold X is a Kahler 3-fold with K_X=0 and b_1(X)=0. In this talk, I will first provide a full classification of CY 3-folds with infinite fundamental group. CY 3-folds with infinite fundamental group are classified into 2 types: type A and type K. In the second half of my talk, I will explain mirror symmetry of type K. An example of type K is the Enriques CY 3-fold, which has been studied well in the context of both mathematics and physics (e.g, Maulik--Pandharipande, Klemm--Marino). If time permits, I will also speak about the enumerative geometry of type K. My talk is based on a joint work with Kenji Hashimoto. |
