Determining the Core-Collapse Supernova mechanism of explosion remains a key goal in astrophysics. Multi-dimensional simulations have provided insight into the phenomena that attend stellar death and explosion, but a definitive and reproducible model has yet to emerge. A feature of the emerging paradigm is the centrality of hydrodynamic instability, asphericity, and turbulence, but 2D and 3D manifestations are quite different. In this lecture, I review the state of the field and the contending explosion models.
