| Abstract: | This talk will mainly describe recent efforts to use lattice models to understand entanglement in gauge theories. We will discuss multiple ways to define and calculate an entanglement entropy in such theories, and we will particularly emphasize equivalences or differences between approaches; some of these puzzles are still unresolved! We will then zoom out and overview the broader implications that this confusing existence of multiple definitions has on the usual notions of entanglement entropy in any field theory. |
