| Abstract: | We revisit existing proposals for possible extensions of the relations between four-dimensional SUSY gauge theories and two-dimensional conformal field theory discovered by Alday, Gaiotto and Tachikawa in the presence of surface operators. There are two types of surface operators corresponding to Liouville theory with degenerate fields and the SL(2)-WZNW model, respectively. The known mathematical relations between Liouville theory and SL(2)-WZNW model can be interpreted as gauge-theoretical IR-dualities. (joint with E. Frenkel and S. Gukov) |
