Qauntum Mechanics together with general relativity leads to black hole thermodynamics, which says that black hole has a Hawking radiation and an entropy proportional to its horizon area. Does there exist any deep connection between thermodynamics and gravitational theories? Some pieces of evidence for the connection have been accumulated over the past years. In this talk I willl introduce three classes of the evidence for the interesting connection. |
