Title: | New physics searches in ATLAS, the latest results from Run-2 and beyond |
Date (JST): | Fri, Jul 14, 2017, 15:30 - 16:30 |
Place: | Seminar Room A |
Abstract: |
From the successful runs in 2015 and 2016, the LHC-ATLAS experiment has accumulated about 37 /fb integrated luminosity with 13TeV collision energy. The analyses on the full dataset were carried out during the winter shutdown, and most of the search results are now ready to be publicized for the EPS conference. I will summarize the highlights of the latest results shown at the EPS. The second part of my talk will be dedicated to the long lived new particle searches in ATLAS, which became popular among the community these days. I will review the newly introduced unique ideas/techniques in detecting such special particles. |
