Abstract: |
Observing Non-Standard Interactions (NSI's) of the neutrino is one of a goals of neutrino experiments such as DUNE. Analyses suggest that NSI's need to be on the order of 10^(-2) (normalized to the Fermi constant G_F) to be observable. While the construction of models which predict such large NSI's is very difficult, it is not impossible, and the question is whether the models are truly viable. In this talk, I will consider a model with a light Z' mediating a potentially large NSI, and discuss the difficulty in evading various constraints coming from already existing data. |
