A research program with Hamamatsu Photonics K.K (HPK) aims to advance the development of silicon detectors, forcusing on the technology that achieves 30 picoseconds time resolution for minimum ionizing particles (MIP), and to implement a versatile testing system for prototype characterization. This detectors will bring innovative changes to event reconstruction at the future collider experiments as well as the several the other apprication which need prisision timing resolution such like biology, medicine, industry apprications. In this presentation, current status of the detector development with HPK and possibility of application of the detectors will be discussed. |
