Abstract: |
Two-dimensional (super)conformal algebras play a ubiquitous role in representation theory and conformal field theory. In igher dimensions, superconformal algebras are all finite dimensional. In this talk, we introduce a refinement of the partial cohomology of superconformal algebras to infinite dimensional algebras, which share many facets with the ordinary (super) Virasoro algebras. Representations of such algebras include the higher dimensional Kac—Moody algebras developed by Kapranov—Hennion—Faonte. Furthermore, we show how these algebras enhance to higher dimensional chiral/factorization algebras. Finally, we will see that upon `localization” that these higher dimensional chiral algebras deform to well-studied chiral algebras on Riemann surfaces. |
