The cosmic energy density inventory, i.e., Omega_x, evolves during the epoch of galaxy formation. I will talk about my ongoing effort to probe the history of some of the cosmic constituents, including stars, dust, and the thermal energy in hot halo gas. These are constrained via tomographic intensity mapping of the cosmic UV, IR, and the SZ effect backgrounds, respectively. I will discuss the potential of expanding the work in probing the cosmic history of black hole accretion and magnetic energy density. |
