Abstract: |
I will discuss geometric and representation theoretic aspects of hemisphere partition functions and vortices in 3d N=4 gauge theories. In particular, I will talk about recent work in which we revisit holomorphic factorisation in terms of hemisphere partition functions and introduce new formulae for various three manifold partition functions in terms of characters of Higgs and Coulomb quantised chiral rings. As a particular example, I will discuss a theory described by the ADHM quiver and discuss Verma and simple modules of the relevant Nakajima and Kodera chiral ring. |
