| Abstract: | In the first part of this talk, I will give a brief review of four-dimensional Chern-Simons theory and its role as an organizing principle for various integrable systems. I will then describe my work on the three-dimensional WZW model that is dual to the four-dimensional Chern-Simons theory. In particular, I will describe how it can be used to obtain the R-matrix that satisfies the Yang-Baxter equation with rational spectral parameter dependence, that underlies the integrability of certain lattice models and spin chains. |
