Abstract: |
The Riemann Hypothesis (RH) is arguably one of the most difficult problems in mathematics. The RH itself is a conjecture about the values of zeroes of the Riemann zeta function. Proving/disproving it will have many profound implications, most importantly concerning the structure of prime numbers. However, do the structure of zeta zeroes have a physical setup? That is the essence of the Hilbert-Pólya conjecture. I will give a gentle introduction to the RH and the Hilbert-Pólya conjecture. |
