Abstract: |
Symplectic manifolds are spaces that appeared first as phase spaces in classical mechanics. Many advancements have been made in symplectic geometry after Gromov introduced the theory of pseudoholomorphic curves in 1985. I will talk about a related, powerful and sophisticated invariant for (exact) symplectic manifolds called "(wrapped) Fukaya category". It also appears as the "A-side" of the homological mirror symmetry conjecture, which tries to explain the mirror symmetry phenomenon in string theory mathematically. Furthermore, I will talk about its relation to the microlocal sheaf theory and some calculation methods. |
