| Abstract: | In this talk, we discuss some recent developments of affine Grassmannians in non-archimedean (p-adic) geometry, with emphasis on deformation theory. Such objects are defined as certain sheaves on the category of perfect algebras (or perfectoid algebras) in characteristic p. Since perfect algebras are reduced, we can not use the usual deformation theory (involving Artinian algebras) directly. Using the notion of ''prism'' introduced by Bhatt-Scholze, we would like to explain a new deformation theory, which can be applied to non-archimedean geometry. |
