In this presentation, I will introduce the Rubin Observatory, currently under construction in Cerro Pachon in Chile. The large, wide field-of-view telescope will embark on surveying a significant part of the Southern sky by executing 10-year long "Legacy Survey of Space and Time." The current plan is to start the survey in 2024. The telescope mirrors are currently being installed into the telescope structure. The workhorse instrument of the observatory is the 3.2 gigapixel CCD camera, with the field of view of ~ 9 square degrees. The camera is being assembled at SLAC, and will be shipped to the telescope site next year. I will also highlight the min scientific objectives of the observatory, and the process of accessing the Rubin data. While we don't yet have the data from the observatory, the user interfaces to the data are being developed using simulated images and catalogs. I will demonstrate the tools currently available to work with such data.
