Abstract: |
Dark matter (DM) experiments are sensitive to a range of signals both within and beyond the standard model. One such signal which is modified in many models of BSM physics is neutrino scattering. We analyze the modified neutrino scattering in DM experiments in the context of new general neutrino interactions mediated by scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, or axial vector particles. We map the case of a heavy scalar to the S1 leptoquark where we set limits from LUX-ZEPLIN data. We show that the next generation of DM experiments can improve upon existing constraints for light vector mediators and probe leptoquark masses beyond the reach of collider experiments. |
