The next meeting of the Quantum Deformation Theory Seminar will be on THURSDAY, August 5, 15:30 - 17:00, Balcony A. Last Tuesday, I have given an account of Barannikov's result on solutions to QME and modular operads, see Barannikov, S. "Modular Operads and Batalin-Vilkovisky Geometry," International Mathematics Research Notices, Vol. 2007. I plan to discuss John Terilla's paper on "Smoothness Theorem for Differential BV Algebras" at the coming meeting on Thursday. This paper discusses the question of smooth formality of the moduli space of solutions to a Maurer-Cartan equation which arises from the Quantum Master equation in a dg BV algebra. |
