Abstract: |
While we all want to measure gravitational waves from inflation or new physics beyond the standard model, the measurement sensitivities of CMB experiments are such that these can be considered mm-wave sky surveys for astrophysics, some of which is also useful for cosmology. These surveys can be very efficient ways to detect new gravitational lenses and galaxy clusters, and can be useful probes of the electron distribution around galaxies as a function of cosmic time. Time domain mm-wave surveys have thus far mainly just detected stellar flares and AGN variability, but there is substantial discovery space there.
