We derive effective action for multi-baryon system by applying AdS/CFT correspondence to Large N QCD. The action is a matrix quantum mechanics with gauge symmetry U(A) where A is the number of baryons, that is, the mass number of nuclei. Although it should accompany various non-QCD corrections due to the AdS/CFT, various results computed using this matrix model reproduces important observables in nuclear physics, such as repulsive core of nucleons and baryon spectra. We compute three-body nuclear forces which are important but difficult to compute in conventional approaches in nuclear physics. |
