| Abstract: |
In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the p-adic theory of differential equations and its applications to quantum differential equations arising in the enumerative geometry of quiver varieties. This perspective reveals connections with mirror symmetry, manifested through p-adic exponential sums. In particular, I will discuss how certain interesting exponential sums from number theory, such as the Selberg character sums studied by Evans, arise as point-counting sums on Coulomb branches over finite fields.
