Abstract: |
The history of the Universe started 14 billion years ago with the Big Bang, as a very hot, dense and expanding ball of gas. Understanding how the stars and galaxies that we see today formed out of these primordial conditions is one of the most challenging cosmological problems. The answers to many of the open questions are likely to be found in the study of the first billion years of cosmic lifetime. |
