Abstract: |
One of the most outstanding theoretical questions of our time regards how gravity behaves on cosmological scales. Several attempts have been made to constrain modified gravity using galaxy clusters and other cosmological observables. In this work, we discuss the constraints on f(R) modified gravity models from future SZ surveys. We investigate in particular the predictions for the clusters surveys that will be produced by the Planck satellite, ACT and SPT. We take into account constraints on number counts and power spectrum. We conclude that future surveys are expected to improve current constraints on f(R) from galaxy clusters by about an order of magnitude.
