Abstract:	Amir Aazami, together with Arlie Petters (Duke) and Jeff Rabin (UC San Diego), has recently proved a theorem establishing an analogue of lensing magnification invariants for the ADE family of singularities. This proof uses a residue theorem for weighted projective spaces, which are special cases of compact orbifolds.
