Abstract: |
Quite a number of observations of type Ic superluminous supernovae has appeared during last few years. The mechanism of the star explosion for so bright events is still not fully understood. One can consider either an unusually energetic explosion, or somewhat unusual structure of the ejecta and circumstellar matter. We construct several models of ejecta surrounded by rather dense and extended CO shell and calculate the light curves for the SNe exploded within those shells. At the border between the ejecta and the shell the shock wave forms, which converts very efficiently the energy of the ordered motion of expanding gas to that of the chaotic thermal motion of particles, which can be easily emitted. As a result, we derive the light curve bright enough to explain at least a part of superluminous SNe Ic without an assumption of unusually high explosion energy. |
