| Abstract: | We review aspects of M-strings which arise when M2 branes are stretched between adjacent parallel M5 branes. In particular we show how their elliptic genus can be computed, as well as the similarity and the differences of the sigma model on their worldvolume compared to elliptic genus of Hilbert scheme of points on R^4. We also discuss the partition function of M5 brane induced domain walls which separate different number of M2 branes. |
