Experiments in which cosmic-ray becomes background should be carried out in an underground site since cosmic-rays are reduced. I am working on underground experiments, like neutrino study with Super-Kamioknade which is world largest cherenkov detector with purified water, R&D of low-background techniques on radon, and so on.
