I aim to develop a unified understanding of particle acceleration across astrophysical plasma environments across a wide range of scales. Using solar flares as my primary laboratory, I investigate how magnetic energy is released through magnetic reconnection and how this energy drives particle acceleration. In particular, I have been involved in NASA’s FOXSI sounding rocket experiment for solar X-ray observations and the COSI MeV gamma-ray satellite mission, contributing broadly from instrument development and data acquisition system design, building analysis pipelines, analyzing observational data, and performing radiative transfer simulations.
