Despite the phenomenal success of modern particle physics, we know that our understanding is incomplete, and there is reason to believe that we may soon have hard evidence of new physics! I have been studying supersymmetry, a form of new physics that may alleviate some of the unattractive features of the standard model. In particular, I have worked on both the high-energy problem of realizing calculable dynamical supersymmetry breaking and the lowenergy problem of generalizing the parameterization of its effects.
