My research interests are primarily understanding the relations between algebraic geometry, number theory and physics, mostly string theory and holography. This includes:

1. The relation between automorphic forms and black hole entropy

2. Moonshine phenomena

3. Wall crossing phenomena

4. Dualities and the geometric Langlands program

I am also interested in aspects of quantum information theory (error correction, black hole information).

Outside of physics/mathematics, I enjoy triathlons, mountaineering, surfing, cycling, drumming, football (soccer) and wilderness backpacking.
