I am interested in broad aspects of quantum field theory, particularly those involving anomalies and topology.

Much of my work so far has been motivated by the "Callan-Rubakov paradox", and more generally, by problems involving chiral gauge theories at strong coupling.

At the moment, I am particularly interested in 2d conformal field theories with boundary, topological phases of matter, lattice regularisation, and in finding out what these things can tell us about each other.
