I work in representation theory, algebraic geometry and mathematical physics; a focus of my research is the representation-theoretic structure and combinatorial structure of moduli spaces, broadly construed. Particular research interests include moduli spaces of sheaves, Hilbert schemes of points on a surface, quiver varieties, Donaldson-Thomas-type theories, quantum groups, symmetric functions and the combinatorics of partitions.
