I am an associate professor at Virginia Tech visiting Kavli IPMU on sabbatical. My research interest is astroparticle physics in general, with a focus on indirect searches of particle dark matter and neutrinos from core-collapse supernovae. Born in Japan and internationally bred, I am looking forward to interacting with the vibrant international community at Kavli IPMU and exploring together novel intersections of dark matter and multi-messenger astronomy.
