I am engaged in the Hyper-Kamiokande project as an on-site coordinator, working to deliver one of the world's most advanced facilities for particle and astrophysics research. Hyper-Kamiokande combines a water Cherenkov detector with an effective volume 8.4 times larger than that of Super-Kamiokande and an upgraded high-intensity proton accelerator at J-PARC, enabling groundbreaking discoveries in fundamental physics and cosmology. The project aims to precisely measure the CP-violating phase in neutrino oscillations to explore the origin of matter in the universe, search for proton decay as evidence for grand unified theories, and observe neutrinos from supernovae and the diffuse supernova neutrino background to advance neutrino astronomy.
