I’m a theoretical physicist at Kavli IPMU. Before joining IPMU, I obtained my Ph.D. in Physics from Princeton University. Holographic principle demonstrates a way that quantum gravity can be encoded into a (non-gravitational) quantum field theory living at the asymptotic boundaries of the spacetime.
My research interest focuses on studying quantum gravity via solvable holographic models via (Anti)-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory correspondence. In particular, I would like to further study the relation between three-dimensional gravity and Chern-Simons theory via topological field theory techniques. I’m interested in both the physical implications and mathematical perspectives on 3d geometries from this connection. I also work on gauge/gravity dualities in general dimensions.
