The essential quest in my lines of research is the search for a fundamental origin of mass. I conduct this search in: i) electro-weak symmetry breaking with emphasis on Higgs properties, ii) the mass and mixing structure in the three generations of matter for both quarks and leptons, iii) the quest for the discovery of dark matter, a mysterious new massive species, and iv) the contribution of gravity to the masses of Nambu-Goldstone bosons. The methodology in my research is to explore the possible answers to this search and bring their observable consequences to contrast with experimental data from e.g. the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), Belle II or dark matter direct detection experiments.
