My research interests focus on commutative algebra and singularity theory. I am studying these subjects from the viewpoint of CohenMacaulay representations. For example, I am interested in noncommutative crepant resolutions, cluster tilting modules and their variants. Some interesting classes of these notions are given by dimer models, which are certain graphs on the real twotorus. In my recent research, I am trying to understand singularities and noncommutative crepant resolutions arising from dimer models by paying attention to the operation called the mutation.
