My research interest is arithmetic and algebraic geometry of finite flat torsors of algebraic varieties, especially Galois theory for them and related problems. For example, in the doctoral thesis, I studied a purely inseparable counterpart of Abhyankar’s conjecture (Raynaud-Harbater’s theorem), which originally gives a complete answer to the inverse Galois problem for finite etale coverings of affine curves in positive characteristic, and obtained several results supporting the generalized conjecture. Now, I am interested in geometric aspects of finite group schemes, especially stably birational geometry of the associated classifying spaces and the essential dimensions of the associated classifying stacks, and I am working on such topics.
