My research interest lies in the field of algebraic geometry. In particular, I am interested in the cohomological Donaldson--Thomas theory (CoDT theory) which studies the geometry of the moduli space of coherent sheaves on Calabi-Yau 3-folds from the cohomological viewpoint. The CoDT theory is considered a mathematical formulation of the theory of the BPS states in mathematical physics.

I have been studying the dimensional reduction for CoDT theory and applied it to the study of the moduli space of Higgs bundles. In future work, I would like to apply the technique of microlocal sheaf theory to CoDT theory. Also, I am interested in the relationship between the CoDT theory and the geometric Langlands correspondence.
