I'm interested in how the universe looks like in the early stage. I'm working to detect the evidence for cosmic inflation, the exponential expansion of the early universe, by observing the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). I participate in ground-based CMB observation experiments: the Simons Array and Simons Observatory.
My main work is the development of various elements in the telescope between the sky and the detector inside the telescope. In particular, I developed the calibrator for the detector polarization angle, millimeter-wave absorber, and some structures of the telescope, e.g., a cryostat and an optical baffle.
Apart from the CMB experiments, I'm working also on the search for a dark photon that can be a candidate for the dark matter by using millimeter-wave techniques which are used in the CMB experiments.
